As part of Vapore d'Estate, Fabbrica del Vapore and Viafarini present ROUND TRIP - FLUIDUM 2, a collective exhibition project curated by Stefano Comensoli_Nicolò Colciago (Spazienne Milano) and Elisabeth Sonneck (super bien! Berlin).

ROUND TRIP is an ongoing project connecting and facilitating exchange between independent art spaces in Milan and Berlin, originating from an idea by Spazienne (Milan) and Elisabeth Sonneck (super bien! Berlin). It is a journey of encounter that aims to make visible the value of diverse approaches to artistic work, research and exchange and, above all, the irreplaceable role that independent spaces play in experimental artistic development and the broadening of public discourse.

ROUND TRIP actively contributes to international networking and exchange between the research created and conveyed by artistic spaces and the people who comprise them. It was born fluid and with the intention to adapt and expand, respecting the same values it represents.

FLUIDUM tells all the stories that led to the beginning of this journey: a word of Latin origin that bridges Italian and German, speaking of the ability to adapt, shape and accommodate.

A collective fluid that unites different attitudes and approaches, connected by freedom and awareness of the cultural value of artistic research.

After the first exhibition in Berlin at Pavillon am Milchhof, this second iteration features a wide selection of spaces and artists from both cities. The choice of artists and works on display, in dialogue with each space, has been defined to highlight the characteristics of each project. The sum of all works manifests as identities within a shared container space.
