Mitte Media Festival is a two-day, two-venue collaborative event focusing on the intersection of video art and short film, as well as performance and publications. How these different media support one another – and transform depending on their context of presentation – is a key conceptual foundation of the festival.

The Kino at Z-Bar hosts mostly Berlin-based artists and collectives, while Fata Morgana/coGalleries features a performance, the release of two publications, and a backroom filled with video works spanning several years.

Mitte Media Festival presents artists from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives, highlighting Berlin – and especially Mitte – as a place where local and international artistic practices collide. Mitte is evolving rapidly, and the festival aims to reflect this transformation while honoring the foundations on which it is built.

Festival partners include: FATA MORGANA, Leo Kuelbs Collection, coGalleries, Last Night in Berlin, Chased Magazine, Directors Lounge, Z-Bar & Konstantin Kopietz, BRLO, and more.
